Welcome to the NP Tae Kwon Do Academy. We are a part of the United Tae Kwon Do Federation (UTF) Scotland and are run by Mr Nik Purves, 5th Degree Blackbelt, with over 20 years experience in Tae Kwon Do, examiner, a qualified international instructor and a member of the Scottish National Team.
The NP Tae Kwon Do Academy originated at Bannatyne's Health Club in Dunfermline and has been running since March 2001. More recently we have expanded and also have both rainbow and junior classes at Kelty Community Centre, Beath High School, Touch Community Centre, Gym 64 Dunfermline and rainbow and junior classes at Bannatyne's Health Club. All classes are run by qualified Black Belt Instructors, with full indemnity insurance and first aid certificates who along with their assistants hold a current Disclosure Scotland certificate.
Since we opened, students have amassed a numerous amount of medals at local, national and international level, which has seen students travelling to places such as Majorca, Sardinia, Canada, Greece, Croatia, South Korea and Ireland to name but a few.
